Sakura
A botanical floral bar inspired by spring in Japan

The colour comes from rose clay, with sakura blossom powder speckled through it. Coconut milk goes in as a filling after emulsification rather than into the lye solution, which is what makes the lather creamy without softening the bar.
It's made by heat transfer: the fresh lye solution melts the hard oils, so there's no separate melting step and no waiting for temperatures to come back down.
The guide also teaches a micro-skill you can carry to other recipes — how to pair a stable natural colorant with a delicate botanical so each one does the job it's actually good at.
