A salt bar is unlike anything else you'll make. Half the weight of the oils goes in as sea salt, which is why the coconut oil sits at 78%, the superfat at 20%, and the loaf has to be cut within the hour rather than the next day.
The colour is kelp powder and dead sea clay through three quarters of the batter, poured under a plain quarter, so the cut face reads as a soft sea-grey band beneath white.
