Creaturely Soap was created to provide a way of creating nature-inspired soaps while giving back to the organizations that are on the front lines of wildlife conservation.  10% of the proceeds from every product is donated to wildlife protection projects around the globe.  Our products are handcrafted in small batches using the most sustainable and nourishing ingredients possible.  We are based in Humboldt County, Northern California.

OUR CORE VALUES

Cruelty Free

Creaturely products and ingredients are never and will never be tested on animals.

Reducing waste

Our packaging is completely plastic free.  Instead, we use 100% post-consumer paper products to package and protect your order.  All of our packaging materials can be recycled and composted.  We make every effort to keep our business practices as zero-waste as possible, which includes practices such as donating any cosmetically defective soaps that cannot be sold to local charities in Northern California so that nothing goes to waste.

Minimizing our carbon footprint

We donate to a native oak tree planting project in Central California, Yolo Re-Oaking, in an attempt to reduce the overall impact of our company.  The distance that each soap travels is carefully calculated so that we buy a sufficient amount of trees to offset the carbon emissions caused by shipping.

Wildlife conservation

Supporting wildlife conservation efforts around the world is at the very heart of Creaturely's mission.  10% of the proceeds from each and every soap is donated directly to organizations who are working towards a more sustainable and just world for our wildlife.  We support projects from wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, to habitat restoration, to conservation research and more!

Ethical ingredients

Our soaps are made with 100% organic plant oils, plant butters, essential oils, and botanicals.  We use Fair Trade certified ingredients whenever possible, and our products are all palm oil free.  Creaturely products are inspired by nature and do not contain any artificial fragrances or colorants, sulfates, or parabens.

Meet our wildlife conservation partner

In November 2020, we formed a partnership with SAPREC, Seabird and Penguin Rehabilitation Center!

SAPREC is a wildlife rehabilitation center that specializes in caring for injured seabirds, particularly the endangered African penguin. They are located in Mossel Bay, a coastal town in South Africa's Western Cape.⠀

The African penguin is an endangered species, having suffered a 99% decrease in the population since the 1800s due to human activity.

The work that the small team at SAPREC is doing is absolutely essential and makes a very real difference in the survival of the African penguin as a species.

10% of proceeds from our sales is donated directly to SAPREC.  That means that each and every soap sold benefits endangered South African seabirds.  We are truly proud to partner with SAPREC.
